Privacy Policy

The Orthodox Bible

The Orthodox Bible is made to be a place to read Scripture and pray. Your privacy matters immensely to us, and this page explains how the app treats your information. The short version is simple. We do not collect your data, we do not track you, and we never sell anything about you to anyone.

What We Collect

Nothing is sent to us. The app has no accounts, no sign in, and no login. We do not run analytics, we do not show advertising, and we do not place trackers of any kind. We never see how you use the app.

When you bookmark a verse, highlight a passage, or write a personal note, that content is saved on your device so it is waiting for you when you come back. It belongs to you.

If you choose to turn on iCloud syncing in Settings, that same content is copied to your own private iCloud account so it can appear on your other Apple devices. This uses Apple iCloud and it stays inside your personal iCloud space. We cannot read it, and we have no way to reach it. You can learn how Apple protects this data in Apple's own privacy policy.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a gentle notification on your device at the time you pick. This happens entirely on your device. No reminder information is sent to us or to anyone else.

Children

The app is safe for readers of all ages. Because we do not collect any information at all, we do not collect information from children either.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page. Since the app does not collect data today, we expect changes to be rare.
